Shreveport Police Chief Henry L. Whitehorn, Sr. officially steps down from his post July 2nd, 2010... to become the new U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Louisiana.

Recommended by Sen. Mary Landrieu, nominated by President Barack Obama, and confirmed this week by the full vote of the United States Senate, the soon-to-be "Federal Marshal" Whitehorn granted "Talk of the Town" radio host Tom Pace an EXCLUSIVE interview on June 23rd while sitting in his SPD Office.

The 15-minute glimpse into the life of Whitehorn covers a variety of topics...including his early role in law enforcement to his thoughts about the soon-to-be-named successor to his 'Top Cop' position. 

Finally, he reminisced about the tragic death of SPD Sgt. Greg Washam due to a brain aneurysm a little over a week ago.
