Cong. John Fleming Announces Re-Election Bid; Mayor Glover Confirms Run for 2nd Term: 6-2-10

La. 4th District Cong. John Fleming officially kicked-off his bid for re-election to a second term from Northwest Louisiana on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010.

A crowd of family, friends and supporters gathered at the Barnwell Garden & Arts Center in Shreveport to listen as Fleming announced his desire to continue his job on Capitol Hill.

Following the Congressman's speech, Tom Pace from the "Talk of the Town" quizzed Fleming on a variety of subjects from his re-election bid - to the future of Barksdale AFB - on to Charlie Melancon's race against Sen. David Vitter...and finally, Fleming's thoughts on the BP oil spill catastrophe in the Gulf.

Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover also attended Fleming's re-election announcement party, and Glover confirmed to Tom Pace, that he too intended to run for a second-term as Mayor.
